Healing from the Core Meditation Circle

In this brief workshop, you will be introduced to Healing from the Core principle’s and concepts of healing circles. The grounding exercises will allow you to learn how to resource yourself when you get drained and enable you to renew your energy.

Join others in this circle format as you learn how to build and maintain healthy boundaries for all aspects of your daily life. This is an introduction class only to see if you would like to continue learning about grounding and healthy boundaries.

Tamara Blossic, DC is the instructor for this class.

Hockessin Chiropractic Centre holds this class once a month.

Coordination Pattern Training

Betsy Wetzig is a choreographer, teacher, author, movement researcher and originator of both Coordination Pattern™ Training and Full Protection Learning. In 1971, when she came across the body’s “neurological tension patterns”, (the Patterns that coordinate our body’s movement and also coordinate our movement to our mental functions), she realized she was not only dealing with our body/mind link but the internal core of dance and style. Thus the Patterns became Betsy’s life’s work. She would use this movement/mind link to help people to fully and freely move and express themselves.

Betsy worked with educators to develop the Pattern’s learning styles use - with body workers, movement specialist, and physical trainers to develop the Pattern’s movement skills and training applications - and with business experts for developing leadership skills. She co-authored the book Move to Greatness: Focusing the Four Essential Energies of a Whole and Balanced Leader which was published in 2008.

Betsy has turned the four Coordination Patterns – named for their physical qualities, Thrust, Shape, Swing, and Hang – into a tool to improve the way you move, interact with others and access your talents and skills. The training helps all ages to:

  • Move in the most efficient and healthiest way, preventing injury
  • Enhance abilities to create, learn/educate, lead and communicate
  • Turn movement into a practical tool for insight into human behavior
  • Improve interactions at the personal, family business and cultural levels
  • Handle stress in a positive and productive way

Betsy offers classes and personal one on one session to restore normal movement and posture.

​Introduction to Posture Exercise

Posture conscious motion teaches you to be aware of your posture, and strengthens the core muscles that control posture. Proper posture will reduce upper and lower back strain, preserve your back as you age, and boost your overall confidence.  Individual assessments will be conducted on each participant, as well as a personalized at home exercise regimen that will get your body to optimization. We will walk you through each exercise so you will leave this class with all of the tools needed for proper posture. Wear comfortable clothing and bring your cellphone. Dr. Tamara Blossic is our instructor for this class.
